These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the CreedPay platform, including our website, mobile application, and all associated services. By accessing or using CreedPay, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use CreedPay. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms apply to all users of the platform, including anonymous users of our no-account features and registered account holders.
CreedPay is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age and who are legally permitted to access and use cryptocurrency and financial services in their jurisdiction.
By using CreedPay, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, that your use of the platform does not violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction, and that you are not a person or entity subject to international sanctions or included on any government watch list.
CreedPay is primarily designed to serve users in Nigeria. Users accessing the platform from other jurisdictions do so at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws.
CreedPay provides the following core services, subject to availability and applicable terms.
We enable the conversion of USDT and USDC to Nigerian Naira, with funds disbursed directly to a Nigerian bank account. This service is available without account registration for transactions up to USD 150. No identity verification is required for transactions within this limit. Registered users who complete KYC verification may access higher transaction limits.
We provide a cross-chain token swap and bridge service that allows users to exchange cryptocurrency tokens across multiple blockchain networks. This service requires connection of a Web3-compatible wallet and is available without account registration. Swap and bridge transactions are powered by third-party liquidity protocols.
Registered users gain access to a personal crypto wallet, full transaction history, bank transfer capabilities, CreedPay ID transfers, and a referral rewards programme. Account creation is free and takes under two minutes.
Registered users may participate in our referral programme, earning rewards based on the transaction activity of users they refer. Referral reward rates, terms, and payout conditions are governed by the referral programme terms published on our platform, which may be updated from time to time.
When you initiate a Crypto to Naira transaction, CreedPay generates a unique deposit address for your specific transaction. You must send the exact cryptocurrency type and on the exact blockchain network specified. Transactions sent on incorrect networks or in incorrect token types cannot be recovered and CreedPay accepts no liability for such errors.
Exchange rates are displayed at the time of transaction initiation and are locked for the duration of the deposit window. Rates reflect prevailing market conditions and applicable service fees. The Naira amount displayed at the time of generating a deposit address is the amount you will receive, provided you send the correct amount within the valid window.
Naira disbursements are processed automatically upon on-chain confirmation of your deposit. Settlement times depend on banking partner processing times, which are generally near-instant but may be delayed during high-volume periods or due to issues with the receiving bank.
All transactions are final once initiated. We cannot reverse, cancel, or modify a transaction after a deposit has been sent and confirmed on the blockchain. Please verify all transaction details carefully before sending funds.
CreedPay reserves the right to place a hold on, suspend, or reverse a transaction if we have reason to believe it involves fraudulent activity, violates these terms, or is required by applicable law or regulatory direction.
CreedPay charges a service fee on Crypto to Naira offramp transactions. The applicable fee is displayed clearly before you confirm a transaction. The exchange rate shown already reflects our fee, meaning the Naira amount displayed is the exact amount you will receive with no hidden deductions.
Network fees, also known as gas fees, for sending cryptocurrency are charged by the blockchain network and are not collected by CreedPay. These fees are paid to blockchain validators and vary depending on network congestion. You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient funds to cover network fees in addition to your transaction amount.
Swap and bridge transactions may incur fees from third-party liquidity protocols and bridging infrastructure. These fees are displayed within the swap interface before confirmation.
CreedPay reserves the right to modify its fee structure at any time. Changes to fees will be communicated in advance and will not affect transactions already in progress.
You agree not to use CreedPay for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. The following activities are strictly prohibited.
Using CreedPay to launder money, finance terrorist activities, evade taxes, circumvent economic sanctions, or engage in any form of financial fraud is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension and referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.
Attempting to deceive or defraud CreedPay or other users, providing false information during account registration or KYC verification, or impersonating another person or entity is prohibited.
Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the CreedPay platform, interfering with the security or integrity of our systems, or using automated tools to interact with the platform in ways not expressly permitted is prohibited.
Creating fake accounts, using fraudulent means to generate referral rewards, or manipulating the referral programme in any way not intended by its design is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of earned rewards and account termination.
Cryptocurrency is a highly volatile asset class. The value of digital assets can fluctuate significantly in very short periods. CreedPay does not provide investment advice, and nothing on our platform should be construed as a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell any cryptocurrency.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a cryptocurrency transaction has been broadcast to the network and confirmed, it cannot be undone. You bear full responsibility for the accuracy of wallet addresses, network selections, and amounts entered when using CreedPay.
Blockchain networks may experience congestion, outages, or failures beyond our control. Such events may delay or in rare cases prevent the processing of transactions. CreedPay is not liable for losses arising from blockchain network failures or congestion.
Swap and bridge transactions involve third-party liquidity protocols and smart contracts. While we integrate with reputable providers, smart contract risk exists in all DeFi infrastructure. CreedPay does not guarantee the security of third-party protocols.
The regulatory environment for cryptocurrency is evolving. Changes in applicable law or regulation may affect your ability to use certain features of CreedPay or the platform's ability to continue offering certain services.
CreedPay provides its services on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
CreedPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of CreedPay shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to CreedPay in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully limited.
You may close your CreedPay account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon closure, your access to account features will be terminated. Transaction history and data required to be retained by law will be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable regulations.
CreedPay reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion if we determine that you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent or suspicious activity, or if required to do so by applicable law or regulatory direction.
In cases of account termination by CreedPay for cause, any pending referral rewards or platform credits may be forfeited.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
